GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF GUARANTEE

  1. The length of the guarantee period for your product is specified in the maintenance manual supplied with it. If you no longer have this manual, please contact your dealer.
  2. The guarantee only covers faults in materials or construction of the product, or parts thereof.
    • Parts that are susceptible to wear and tear, such as tyres and chains, are entirely excluded from the guarantee.
  3. The guarantee shall not apply if:
    • The product has not been used correctly, used carelessly or not used in the way for which it is intended.
    • The product is not assembled or maintained in the manner prescribed by the instruction booklet.
    • Technical repairs to the product have been inexpertly performed.
    • Parts fitted afterwards do not comply with the specifications for the relevant product,
    • or have been incorrectly fitt
    • Defects are caused by climatic influences, such as rust or the normal weathering of the paint.
    • The product is used for rental or otherwise made available to several unspecified persons.
  4. BERG Toys expressly excludes liability for damage to (parts of) the product resulting from:
    • Incorrect adjustment/tension of the steering wheel, steering mechanism, chain, tyres and gear flanges.
    • Failure to replace parts such as chain and tyres in time.
  5. During the guarantee period any errors in materials or construction identified by BERG Toys shall either be replaced or repaired at the choice of BERG Toys.
  6. The owner of the product can only rely on the guarantee by enabling the product to be examined by a BERG Toys service dealer. The dealer should be provided with the original guarantee certificate (completed and accompanied by the dealer's stamp) together with the original purchase receipt.
  7. If the claim under the guarantee is not justified, then all costs thereby incurred are the responsibility of the owner.
  8. The guarantee is not transferable to any third party.
