BERG Toys is opening an office in the US, a new milestone for the Dutch brand and international market leader in pedal go-karts. From its base in the United States, BERG Toys plans to expand throughout the continent.

Worldwide
From the Netherlands, BERG Toys operates in 40 countries worldwide. The company works with a fine-meshed dealer network in Germany, France, Belgium, Ireland and the Netherlands. Elsewhere, such as in Russia, South Africa, Australia, Scandinavia and Latin America, the company is represented by importers.

Coast to Coast
In the US, BERG Toys has acquired the import organisation of Frank Bewersdorff. Mr. Frank Bewersdorff will be President at BERG US LLC. This will enable BERG Toys to manage its operations more efficiently and directly. With the pedal go-kart being relatively unknown in the US, the challenge is to introduce this Dutch product to the American market. There is considerable growth potential in the US and this new arrangement will create more opportunities to explore and serve the market together. It will now be possible to implement product developments earlier to respond more quickly to the American market.

US vision
Many countries are already familiar with the go-kart. For the Americans, however, the go-kart needs to become an established phenomenon. The well-known BERG Toys licence products such as the JEEP, New Holland and Ferrari go-karts are already popular in the US.

In Chad they are faced with a huge need for a good education, which requires schools, educational material, and basic sanitary facilities. Through the Dutch Foundation “Woord en daad” (word & deed) we contribute to make education available to more children, particularly to the poorest children.
